Thank YOU man! I wasn't being snarky... I've been trying to viking-ize my device, a Sea Lion, and had found this lion. I was hoping you would be able to say "no man, it's Celtic from the blah of the blah dig in blah blah blah blah". But anyway, best of luck on the auction, that really is ...

Auction - Leather bracers/vambraces ENDED

Ok, let's try this FOR AUCTION... Leather Bracers/vambraces with pyrographed "Celtic" lion design. Completely hand-made by yours truely. 3mm (approx) veg-tan leather. waxed finish. Latigo laces to fasten. Minimum wrist about 7 inches - obviously goes larger due to laces. length approx 9 in...

You report it to the auction site. Been there, done that. They're normally on the ball for this sort of thing but can't police every auction, so they rely on honest citizens to report dodgy listings.

It's called ART.. does it really need a reason? I mean it's not like he has poisoned small animals and tacked them to a board and tried to call it art. This must have taken some level of skill to achieve. I don't think anyone said it didn't take skill Matt. It's just unusual. I can't make up my min...

So...I must admit, I'm always curious when someone says they can get stuff inexpensively. His website lists a 'riveted steel chainmail' that fits 6'0" tall (haubergon pictured), and a 48 inch chest for $550 . Icefalcon serves a better deal, same for $495 (60 inch chest, I'm also assuming this ...

A fair few re-enactors over here have maille made with an open front, or, more commonly, an open back similar to a surgical gown. This is threaded together with a leather thong/lace - fairly unobtrusive. This would, in many cases, allow the maille to be removed by quickly cutting or pulling out, the...
