Ladies clothes - sadly, not so many pics of these. (Including one that shall NOT be mentioned!!) We have a variety of patterns for ladies garment and have made some fine ones in the past. I shall mention this, since we lack photos. All clothing is made to order, not carried in stock.

Okay - cheers. Totally reworking the site at the moment, just got to select images and insert, then check functionality and publish it. May be a day or two.
It's odd though...on the current intro page I only get one image, yet others seem to see multiples :?

NEW SITE UP -opinions please?

Subsequent to a previous thread and an untidy site I'm going over my website. Someone previously suggested "no click on picture to enter" so I've changed the front page of our site . Not 100% sure myself and would value opinions.... http://www.thewarriorsgateway.com Also looking to change the top of...

As a wearer of armour, but not an armourer or expert, I think it looks as if it would work. However I personally wouldn't like to go into combat with that bevor - it comes in too close to the face, certainly in the upper portion. One good blow to that would really spoil your day, IMHO. Most bevors I...

The only reason I haven't ordered from you (recently) is that I don't have the free cash floating around. I still want greaves.

BOOTS & KNIVES

Just a heads up for those interested. Now have footwear and knives available on the website.
Boots in the clothing section and knives in the accessories.

I know people who fight SCA style in suits intended for later period pike-men where the "gorget" and the "pauldrons" are esentially one piece (for a black and white civil war harnes, what is this piece called?). The motions for setting or thrusting with a pike are quite easy and the general form of...

I beg to disagree - What would occur with such a pauldron worn, say, by an English knight/man-at-arms in full plate, fighting on foot with a pole-weapon? Severely restricted motion such as you advocate would surely spell disaster, especially against a mounted opponent. You have to have an almost fu...
