Object record Horned helmet Iron Age, 150-50 BC From the River Thames at Waterloo Bridge, London, England A helmet for a god? This 'helmet' was ...

We had a situation where someone had taken an axe in the face but it turned out that he intentionaly dived headfirst into pole lines as he knew they would move and he could kill them - one day his luck ran out. IMHO it was his own fault. Been in a similar situ myself with that, years ago. Rolled in...

He may be experienced but would seem to lack the skill or the will to fight safely. Does this occur with only one weapon type or all? If with one, possibly he should try a change. Does it occur because of the manouvering of his opponent? Perhaps, being experienced, he causes less experienced fighter...

Nicely done mike, especially with the silver edging. Only wish my leather projects came out that nice... But instead I'm usually left with a steaming pile of malformed cowhide when it comes out of the oven... Someday, I'll learn... Cheers, Shawn Thanks. These are actually hot-wax soaked (not very h...

Re: Fantasy Pauldron
3mm wax-hardened leather, black, painted silver edging... How did you do that - silver paint first, then wax, or the other way around? What kind of paint? I tested the paint on the leather first, then tested it was okay when waxed. This seemed to work, so it was paint, then wax. Acrylic paint.

Shipped to customer yesterday.
3mm wax-hardened leather, black, painted silver edging, to customers design. Lightweight LARP or Cos-play.
Lames fairly shallow as being worn over an overcoat/trenchcoat, so didn't want to have bunching fabric. (deeper than they look in top photo)
Critique please...

Any such thing out there?
Pics?
Any leads?
I know it's almost certainly not going to be a historical piece, but there you go.
