I think the oculars may be a bit high, or the skull too low, if you get my drift.
Other than that I would have thought it feasible.

Excellent info quys !!! My next question, were the Marcher Lords still in "control" of Wales around 1300 to 1400 ??? From the Google search results I am having trouble pinning down a date when they, Marcher Lords, were overthrown or "retired" from service.... Not in control as such. There were inde...

Servus! "Mixed Marriages" within an SCA context isn't unheard of - Sir Giles (a Saxon) is married to the incomparable Countess Ezabella (a Norman). Another way around this is to have a suit of armour that differs from your persona - i.e . Welsh guy with an English suit, and so forth . Shouldn't be ...

I use a Mercs Tailor gorget. Strapped for spaulders/pauldrons and arm harness. Very nice piece of kit AND it's reduced at the moment (I have no affiliation with MT

This is actually a topic of vague interest to myself, so thanks for posting it. I only became involved in the SCA last year at the ripe old age of 40. That was after I had found the Archive and learned a few truths. Prior to that I had avoided the SCA as if it were a particularly noxious plague, ind...

See if you can source a foam called Plastazote.
Comes in a variety of thicknesses and colours (inc. black) I find it most useful for a variety of purposes.
This tech data may be useful - http://www.capitalservicesny.com/Plastazote.pdf#search='Plastazote'

Agree with Russ, and I believe you get nifty costume as well, as I believe the borrowed from influences to the east and west of them. I also believe than Lithuania was the last pagan state in Europe into and beyond (possibly, can't remember date) the 15th century - The Teutonic Knights were fighting...

Yep - one or both feet bare - better grip than slick leather soles and trust me - I've lived in Wales for 15 years - it's wet! Obviously, not practical for SCA. I would agree with Chef that a Marcher Lord is better, should you want to be carrying more armour - and you get to play with both sides. Al...

I'd be a little worried about that dagger option unless I was reeeeeal fast. I'd wager most fellows could clock me faster than I can pull a dagger and cross distance. the other option to a belted back-up dagger is one on a wrist loop such as I usually use (and it has been discussed and deemed withi...
