Re: Icefalcon 2" Spear Tips are No-Go in Atlantia
Atlantia isnt one of those "just positive pressure" kingdoms is it? There is no such thing as "positive pressure". From page 10 of the Handbook. b. The minimum effective thrusting blow to the face shall be a directed touch and the maximum shall be substantially lighter than to o...

Re: Maximum Coverage ZoomBang SHORTS AVAILABLE NOW
I haven't seen the shorts but because the leg muscles are big the material should work well. I believe Sir Seth, KEM in Meridies has a pair. Also, since the shorts don't cover anything that is part of the SCA's minimum armour requirements, there shouldn't need to be any official testing done. excep...

Re: Golfer's Elbow Treatment?
HG Brannos taught me a nice stretch that looks like a guy holding a pizza box off to the side while looking off the opposite shoulder.
You slowly push the pizza away keeping the palm up.
I do it all the time now before and after fighting and it amazes me how much it works.
(looks silly though)

Re: Icefalcon 2" Spear Tips are No-Go in Atlantia
This worries me a bit. I really don't like stuff getting inside my helm. I like the mandrake tips (I one of of the small ones on my sword) but I can also imagine one getting compressed enough to squeeze inside a bargrill. Sure, it would take a lot of force, but then again, some of the most intense ...

Legal tips on fiberglass spear shafts
As of right now only 3" x 3" foam tips and the Mandrake 2"x2" (red or black) rubber tips are legal on fiberglass shafts up to 9' in length. Icefalcon and homemade foam 2" x 2" tips are still experimental and must only be used following those guidelines. They can only be...

If you feel the blow was excessive report it to your KEM.

That is the only 2" tip allowed on fiberglass shafts at this time.
