its the gambeson with no padding added,it feels very sturdy. the arms are longer then mine,they go to my knuckles which would be good for you uther but i could leasure it for you.

thanks,when i get some spare cash i will order a tube of satin glo and see if its alot better then the generic type.

Question about applying it. do you melt the satin glo in a container then apply it hot to the wheels or just apply it like buffing compound then let it dry completely??

I am hearing about this stuff but i got a generic type of it and it was hard to use and wasted alot of it to get it to work for a very short time. I mainly work in stainless steel and aluminum and I am trying to find better ways to polish stuff. I currently use 2x72inch scotch brite belts on my belt...

i personally wear leather vambrace that isnt super thick,like 6 to 7oz. but its double layered and i got mousepad glued to the inside which offers great protection and its pretty light.

get it powder coated. otherwise paint it with whatever is cheapest i think because its gonna come off and you will have to touch it up alot. get a paint that you can match it with some paint brush paint for touch ups. If you could powder coating it the best solution and aluminum takes powder coating...

take a peice of wood and sand a bowl into it,burn it with a torch after its formed just to char the outer layer,then take your lightly rounded hammer head and pound on in for a bit.
