New style for my hinged knee muscled greaves.
I finished a set of my new hinged knee muscled greaves, these are out of aluminum. I added more definition to the muscling,a center ridge down the shin and extended them down the sides of the foot/ankle. I believe this is a far better looking product. These will run $300 [img]http://i241.photobucket....

I have only ever worked with abs plastic. heat the whole piece in the over then place it over an object thats roughly the same shape then clean it up by spot heating. A breastplate would be molded over the person thats gonna wear it.(they need alot ...

the arm from the piston is sunk into the the plate that is the mount for the hammer and then welded, its a more stable design then the one that we based this off of and the original has held up for a long time. For the dyes we got 3inch round bar cut to a 3 inch length made out of high carbon steel. ...

My new toy,powered hammer.
Well the powered hammer was delivered the other day. We still need to add the trip switch slide and run all the air lines. I cant wait to use it. BTW the weight of the hammer is 45 to 50lbs,yes its gonna be a brutal beast but i will be making a small version of it also. [img]http://i241.photobucket....

looking for aluminum riveted chain individual links
I just got a riveted aluminum chain shirt and it has some broken links in it. I also would like brass or bronze that I can add to the bottom of the shirt. If anyone knows a site for this then i would appreciate it.

my advice as an armorer and once very poor fighter is get the materials you can afford and try to use the best patterns. Usually patterns that are meant for plastic are almost all the time an inferior pattern. You can make almost all samurai armor with black plastic and laces and throw in some silk/...

The kit has great instructions for it online and was relatively easy to put together for me until i got to the thumb which was really hard to form and finish. Overall i think its a good design but at 18ga stainless i personally wou...
