well you could modify the chain so it would cover the front bars but not the sides of the helmet by removing some of the chain from the sides and back,alot of aventails have to be tailored to fit a helms.

they are aluminum and if they break pretty rapidly i will replace them with stainless tangs but from my experience they shouldnt break.
