thanks for the review. i built those legs to function well and last a long time and that made them look good also. I just happen to hate articulated knees,i perfer my armor not to move at all, when they would shift a half inch any direction it would bother me.

i was actually thinkin of making a belt plaque stamp like what your discribing hal. I think it would work since its not gonna put tons of stress in a small spot like the pyramid one. I would like to see it done,i think you can do it.

well brass isnt really very soft if its hevily hammer. alot of people wear cold rolled mild steel and i would guess brass is about the same, from my experience.

ok so you sew hockey gloves into these gauntlets? They dont seem like they would protect at all without a good amount of padding.

When i build elbows or any other aluminum armor i use 6061 t6 at 0.100 thick. I find its stronger then 16ga stainless and 14ga mild except for spring types. its also alot lighter then steels.

This is funny because i just started a zunari kabuto for my apprentice. I dished all my plates more then yours and my center plate is alittle more narrow then yours but i think your on track. Effs comments were exactly what i was gonna say.

Cant wait to see the rest. I might even post my progress.
