?'s about Tractor Supply aluminum wire
Hey guys, I need to make some maille for kids, and the customer wants to use aluminum wire. Can the Tractor Supply stuff be used for kids combat? I think the thickest they have is 14 gauge, and I was thinking of using 5/16" rings (or maybe 1/4" rings if that won't work). Will that hold up ok, and wi...

Hey Lloyd! How are ya? I just wanted to ask a question about the puppy T shirt. Is the 2XL the largest you can get? I measured my dog, and I think it would be way too small. Her neck circumference is 20.5", and her chest circumf. at the widest is 40.5". I didn't check the other measurements, but I t...

If you get more, I would be interested in the small, deep one - the one that's 2" high, 7" wide (inner diameter) and 1.25" deep. If your friend hasn't cut them down yet, would it be possible to make it about 3" high or so instead of 2"? If you can, let me know when you expect to get these. There is ...

Jason and Gavin, Thank you very much for your advice! Yes, I agree that the overlap should go away. I will have to rework the patterns a little, but it shouldn't be too hard to fix that. Thanks! Oswyn, I really would love to get back to this project, and I would be more than happy to do a custom ord...

What I do is upload a picture into paint. Then, click on "image", select "stretch/skew" from the drop down menu, reduce the image by 50% in both of the top 2 boxes (I think they are labeled "horizontal" and "vertical"), then hit enter. Once that is done, I go back and reduce the 2 dimensions by anot...

I don;t know if this is what you are looking for or not, but I have a bow that belonged to my kids when they were little. The only problem is that it's bright yellow plastic (heavy plastic, nylon maybe?) You can have it if you want to cover shipping. It's a 'Lil Scout or something like that and I ca...

Brock, I will offer you $40 for the legs depending on the gauge (plus shipping). What gauge are the legs, and what gauge are the knee cops? I checked the web and found some munitions grade legs at Illusion armouring (16 gauge legs, 14 gauge cops), and they were $155 with the wrap around hinged thigh...

Ok, I don't know how well I can explain this, but I will give it a try. I do not pre open any rings at all - ever. I open the rings one at a time as I am weaving them, and the direction I open them depends on the direction that the current row is leaning. Sometimes I open them with the right side of...

You think THAT'S bad, I have 3 cats (2 of which are fixed) that pee everywhere, and a dog that is on meds that caused her to have incontinence, so she pees on the couches and beds without even knowing she's done it. The dog pee isn't too bad because it's really thinned down due to the meds, but I ha...

Owen, Thank you so much for your very kind comments! I appreciate it very much! As for overlapping on one side and butting together on the other, I don't think that will work. The back half of the collar will be flush with the front on the butted side, but will be lower than the front on the overlap...

I don't have a stump, but I wonder if I can press a piece of thick leather into a bowl, then harden the leather and use it as a dishing form. I wonder if it would give too much to be useful. I have an oxygen bottle bottom, but it's really pitted. Maybe I could line that with the dished and hardened ...

Thank you all for your honesty and for the tips! The leather is 13/15 ounce, and is 1/4" thick, so I guess there isn't much I can do about the bulkiness. If it didn't over lap, it might look better. I am also not sure I like the bevor - I may have to change that to one piece instead of 2. The back i...

If you are looking for free web hosting just to get you started, you can try Freewebs. It's what I use. It's not perfect, and the designing process can be aggravating, but they do give you a couple of templates to choose from to get you started. They also do not use pop up ads, which is really nice....

Robert, You can also shrink your picture in Paint. Click on "image", then select "stretch/skew". I usually reduce mine 50% (for both dimensions), then once that is shrunk, I go back and reduce the dimensions by another 50%. Then, save your picture (use "save as" so you still have one copy of the pic...

I also couldn't figure out how the munion plates...
