Is there not much need or want for clamshell or mitten? There is a decent number of steel fighters out there that can not use the fingered ones due to time period and or saftey concerns from steel sword, axe, mace

I just won a very nice won from Mr. Norwalt on this forum. It is made very well! It I am sorry to say is a bit too small for me. Here is the link to the thread that has pics of the helm and description. I paid 145.00 for it. I will ask the same for it. I recieved it last week.

You have a good eye for armour making. Where are you located? How much does a shear cost to cut 14 G? Could you replenish the cost of a shear from the sale of a helm?
