Selling complete Stainless Helm system!

I just bought a new helm and I want to sell my exsisting helm system to afford more plate armor from the same armourer. This is a 14G Stainless bascinet. It has a 14G galv. aventail with Talbots vervelles. The bascinet has been black duct taped inside so the padding (Football tailbone pads) are atta...

One of the best bumper stickers I ever saw was... Gerrys dead..Phish Suck..Take a Bath! Whenever I see the white, dreadded out patchouli smellin frisbee throwing kids out there I think of that sticker. I would think even the celts had some kids that went too far with thier braids, seeded their pot i...

If it is a basic armour pattern that is made public and someone uses it to make money then I would think it is achieving two things. practicing smart buisness and flattering the pattern maker. I thought people who would take issue with thier writings and such would copywrite or patent them. Like whe...

Sir Andreas Eisfalke- I think we both are right in this one. I think for a person who does not want to make or attempt to make his or her own armour it is a decent deal. For a person who has been thinking of trying his hand at a armour project like a COP I would say this is not so much a good deal a...

Well look at this! Talbot gives great service and has great products and he is a High School Principle for a full time job. Makes me envious of the parents in your district.
That my friends is exactly what I wanna hear. Bravo! Talbot. Keep up the good work in both your worlds.

If your chest is smaller than 40 I would not go with the shirt but 40 and up it will be fine.

Are you guys doing scenarios and or pulled blows? If you are then you really are not fighting steel. If you are not pulling blows and are properly armoured and fight to the yield or till one is fought out of a predetermined area then you are fighting steel. This is not a slight. I fought pulled stri...

I fight steel but I am in NO WAY good enough to tell you the specifics on the metals and rockwell hardness of swords. I can tell you from a very laymans opinion. There are two kinds of swords that I have seen for use. The carbon spring steel swords that have a "give" to them. They will bend a bit an...

You are right about teh maint. I had to re-peen the pommel on my older hand and a half but I heard they fixed that problem with teh new runs of them. You do have to refile but I use a small hand held dremel and it only takes about 10 minutes.

How do your paul chens hold up? I use them in our small group and while they are not the perfect sword, at $80.00 for knightly and $100.00 for hand and a half it is hard not to use them. Plus they do not cause alot of blunt force trauma like so many others out there.

I picked up one of the Darksword Armoury Early Medieval swords for about $100.00 including shipping. It is really nice! I will still use the paul chen practical series since I am a dealer for them. my group does not want to switch so I now have no use for it. But still it is very nice and functional.
