There is a guy on ebay selling a 16G galv rivetted hauberk for $145.00 plus shipping. it weighs in at 32 lbs. Would this be good to use in steel work? It is one from india. Do you think it would hold up to full contact steel work? The price seems really good.

He said he would fix the problems but there would be a 50% re-stocking fee! I though it was a lot of money to begin with but he said he had 10 more years of probation an...

oops, The guys on the archive are pretty cool about this sorta thing. Most of us will not bid against each other if we can help it. Unless its for a auction on the archive and we are doing it to give one of us a chance at making some dough without doing the ebay hassle. :-)

Well dont you look perty Llyod! Especially with the visor down! ;-)

I am glad you like them!

Llyod has a knack for putting himself in the path of big sticks and I get the feeling he really likes it! So he needs to be in good armour like what Lewis Moore makes.

The Belt is cool and the large over the shoulder coif and integral leather hood is pretty awesome too. I bought a Brig Gorget that was made by armouer Eric. When I bought it it was used. It held up extremely well and only required a re-dying of the leather. I used the hell outa it doing steel work and then sold it to a guy who still uses it. His work is very well made I concur.
