Really nice 16 g steel and leather COP for sale

I bought this last month and when I put on my gambeson and maille it was too small around the mid section I am including the ebay auction that I won it off of. They have good pics of it. They did not include the waist size so it is my fault. I have a 38 waist and with thick gambeson and maille it do...

Its a shame but it is getting very hard to get decent money for suits that can not be used for either steel work or SCA work. I would say ebay is your best bet. Also just like selling a house you might want to a bit of cleaning to get more money in the end.

A couple of guys here could make the helms, a couple more could make some grills, a leather guy or two could make some chin straps. They could be standard bascinets. The helm makers can drill holes for the chin s...

Thank you very much for the info. That sounds like a awesome site. I hope some pics were taken that an archiver could put up. It also sounds like a joy to take part in. I would think there were not alot of wasted shots flying around. To be asked to take part in such a tourny would be a nice feeling ...

I sometimes do not click on topics involved in the SCA as much as I should. When I do I end up liking the discussion. Could you please tell me what sort of tourney this was? You mentioned steel rather than rattan and I perked up Not to say one is better than the other. In fact I have never been hit ...

I could have sworn I saw a period ducumentaion that shows the bodice worn without a chemise and with the laces open and dangling. He normally has a tad bit of a wait but just email him and ask. He makes good solid armor. I have ordered from him before (helm) and was very pleased all round. he makes armor for a group that fights full contact steel as well so he makes tough stuff.

Texas: N and W of San Antonio is the 830 area code. Cross refernce thier phone to get an address. Maybe you could see if any archivers are near there and can go there directly to inquire about the helm. Or I noticed in your profile that you are a aircraft mech in atlanta. Do you get deals on airfare...

Made by Lewis Moore. Lewis is going to kill me when he reads this! I begged him to make these for me but I could not find a breast or back to go with them I wanted. Crusader knees and elbows do not seem to be dished as much. I do not know your personna though?

Also this may be a bit off but KingsLance on ebay has legs and arms that the main complaint by most is that they are no dished enough.

What about just buying knee cops with a lame on each end and then you can use leather with steel splints and make it sized to fit. You can make it as heavy or light as yu want it. You could even use alum for the splints as long as the leather was hardened. Should not be to hard to do to add a thigh ...
