Its a shame but it is getting very hard to get decent money for suits that can not be used for either steel work or SCA work. I would say ebay is your best bet. Also just like selling a house you might want to a bit of cleaning to get more money in the end.

He normally has a tad bit of a wait but just email him and ask. He makes good solid armor. I have ordered from him before (helm) and was very pleased all round. he makes armor for a group that fights full contact steel as well so he makes tough stuff.

What about just buying knee cops with a lame on each end and then you can use leather with steel splints and make it sized to fit. You can make it as heavy or light as yu want it.
