On my full arms I had my armourer)Lewis Moore) leave off the fan on the shield arm and I have the fan on my sword arm. The fan kept getting in the way of my shield and its strapping.I need to get rid of my shield in a hurry sometimes (when I tilt).

Looks like they ran a nice segment on the event. It looks like they really enjoyed getting the kids envolved in the whole thing. I think that is great. Get the wee ones interested in history as much as you can I say.
I will also agree with a nice splintering of the lance is always nice to see.
