With a backdrop like that and use of it as well I can really see losing yourself in the period! The pics are very nice and it is nice to see a large group of people in armor and swinging steel in a good mood. ;-) After Igot thru the pics with the cars in it I really enjoyed the pics. lol

Shark made a sparrow beak close helm for me that fit like a second skin. It was weird getting used to being in a close fitting helm that a squire had to take off you. I was used to a great helm with a arming cap and coif. I had a chin strap break during a tilt and every other stride I would lose sig...

Is the armor in Brannagh's Movie Henry V period?

I know Kenneth Brannagh does a wonderful job of putting shakespeare to the film for people to get interested enough to read but I wanted to know if the armor the french wore in his move adaptation of Henry V was period. The armor I am most interested in is the french knights in the battle of agincou...

by the sword sells varients of this type helm as well. They say they are from the CAS line which would explain the Paul Chen. They have them for $115.00 If I was starting out I would prob. go with one of Otto,s helms though.

need idea of time period for my armor

Good day. I have a question or two to ask . I have a small LLC that does educational demos in schools (elementary). I have a decent amount of armor that includes mostly 14th cent. stuff. Here is the problem. I am thinking of doing things a bit more authentic. I in the past did things within a 50 yea...

Ceaser Salad- Sorta like a Viking PCP? (Angel Dust). I know of certain natural roots and plants causing a sort of uphoria and other reactions so maybe there is some sort of truth to the beserk thing. I am prob. wrong but I was thinking with a close helm kit you would attach the pauldrons and arms to the gorget via 1 1/2 type wide leather straps with buckles?
Thats how I am doing mine. If it is wrong for period I am sorry but it seems the only way to get teh heavy larger armor pieces to stay.
