There knighthood is different as well as thier combat. I personally would like to be able to enjoy the company of both Adria and the SCA. Jack of all trades master of none I guess but still a great varied learning exp.

Hate to use this movie to make my point buuuttt... I really liked the counted blows tourny they held in the wooden octagon in "Knights Tale" it would be easy to set up by groups and you would have 30 seconds to score blows while the opponent could only try to sword parry. Every blow landed on body w...

Like if I was required to do a head strike with the butt of my rifle I would do it. Where you might prefer...

The thing I am curious about is if you are a steel fighter that does not spend alot of time learning text fighting techniques and is allowed to shield bash pommel strike, and helm butt and basically fight to the yeild without thrusts or...

I went thier tonight and I met up with Loegaire. He as well as the others were very nice and took the time to show me what the SCA does as far as fighting. Will you be there this wed.? I live about 12 minutes from there and was very curious about it. I went to Kiss a few times about a year ago to let Goth and the others wack me around.
