I thought for a moment you were going to say you had met someone that tried to argue that with you. The Lochac rules do however specify in picture form that the head must be covered, which would imply a helmet. I would say that if you read the rules carfully very few of the sections will directly sp...

You know, if you read society rules, no-where does it state that the helmet has to protect the back of your head. It should, but the rules don't say that. In fact they don't even say the helmet has to be worn on the head, they do say the bottom bar of the grill, must be one inch below the chin, but...

We can do most whatever you want. Brass/ bronze is expensive for plaques as we lost wax cast and it is very labour intensive though we are looking at some other options. We specialise in 14th C and migration era jewellery and accessories but will work in any era. We have produced pieces in pewter, ...

I purchased an onion topped bascinet off of you a few years ago. It has a removable visor. The hinge on this helmet has suffered pretty badly. I have had the pin that goes through the hinge snapped off. I think this would have been better to supply 2 hinges with the helmet and permanently rivet the ...

I got lucky and managed to get something out of their armour flake. The product was exactly what I ordered and was well made. It was about 6 months late and I thought I would never get a product from them. I don't know if I would risk it again. Depending on what you are after Wild armoury and Hammer...

Hi Tasha, I have access to bronze wire (non fluxed welding/brazing rod, if you can get to a welding supplier and have the time you could do it yourself). I could probably make something thats butted out of round wire for you. You said rectangular but then only said 1 inch long, how long should the o...
