You can also try a rawhide faced hammer in to a wooden block. If it works for you it can cut down noise a lot.

Alternatively you could do what we do in Lochac and add some mesh to your helmet. It doesn't take much to form it to your helmet make it look pretty and paint it black so it disapears.

I don't think we'vve had any archery related injuries here.

I don't think it ever made it to the pattern archive.

My carlos is sitting half finished and unloved on my work bench  After I finish my Valsgard, I want to try and finish it off, so far its been a very easy kit to make.

If you can find a pair I love my T6 gauntlets. Mine were made by west coast before he went our of business but if you can find something similar they are great. Hi Torvaldr,

Is it possible to order your standard bazuban shape but so they are only padded with 1/4 padding rather than 3/8?

I like the coverage of the standard pattern but prefer the sleek look of the low profiles.

looks good , particularly like the point on the bascinet and the combination of colours on the Brig is great! Cheers, the bascinet is a german onion top bascinet made for by steel mastery. Torvaldr, I am looking to purchase a set of your buzubands in the near future. For comparison purposes would you be able to take a pic with the low profiles next to a standard buzuban so I can get an idea of how significant the changes are, particularly to the height of the wings? Could you take pic...

I usually make an H shape out of leather. I then put a whole in each leg of the H. Then I put the legs of the H on one end together and run a bit of cord though it with a knot at one end, this makes each end a sort of D shape. Repeat for the other side and it should make a cup shape.
