For sale- Burgundy, black and straw gold foliate chenille 15th/16th C. ish pattern Pattern is flat weave, background is velvet textured 52" wide Fibre content- Unknown but I suspect it is cotton and rayon Heavy garment weight but has nice hand/drape (i.e. it makes up into clothing very nicely)...

Lance/right. The strike hit the shield and broke, bounced off the shield and got stuck up his vambrace, broke off further down, then hit him in the shield again. At least I *think* that's what Luke told me. I believe vamplates were preferred, but it was up to the competitor if he wanted to use them....
