I don't think so. I'm not expert on these things, but as I understood it, WealthTV.com was shooting HD for the TV show they were making about the event, and Eric Dubé was shooting in 'regular' video for the DVD.

The tack we use for medieval pursuits is almost exclusively spanish. Jeff buys most of our tack from Europe, and only Zaldi or Ludomar.

The website just let me order one, so I imagine it would let you order one as well.

I'm running at a full 8+ weeks because of the joust, but we're still cranking out a couple a week.

Wh said we don't have arming doublets right now? I just looked and they're available on order. We stopped carrying them as an in stock item some time ago. What brewer said- they have to be fitted or they don't work right, so I make every one to order/to measure these days.

Isn't it though? Apache was an awesome horse. If I may be allowed to brag a little bit- On the first day of jousting Toby and Steve had problems with their horses and had to withdraw. Jeff was doing great on Apache, so volunteered to take Steve and Toby's courses. Since it was a teams event, the oth...

I get a lump in my throat over these horses. They are -so- tough and willing and fearless, and they just LOVE to joust. Lucas gets himself so wound up that he'll just spring straight up in the air like a rabbit, and when he's given his head he looks like he's been shot out of a crossbow. He literall...

Segunda can't play polo anymore because she's blind in one eye. It's against polo rules to play a horse blind in one eye. Hasn't slowed her down for jousting though, eh? I think it depends on they type of horse currently popular for polo where you are. Skinny Thoroughbred types are popular here. We ...

Thank you.

Unfortunately, wool or wool blend is almost a no win situation for us. When I use 100% wool the cost is higher, and the garment is more delicate. Delicate in that it has special requirements for wear and cleaning, not that it isn't sturdy. You have to be a bit careful about wearing wool when it is w...

I really enjoyed riding an ex polo pony though. They're great because they respond to your seat and leg so much. Lucas is an ex-polo pony (still plays but mostly does medieval stuff now) who took to jousting almost instantly. He's almost been the exception to the rule though, most of the polo ponie...

All available horses have been reserved and the window of opportunity to compete in this event has closed.

If you have a horse and the correct equipment, we will consider late entries on a case-by case basis between now and October 15.

Yes, we've thought about the PVC pipe approach, but don't have the time to cut and deburr thousands of rings.

I'll keep you in mind if we have to use split rings, thanks.

WTB Plastic [chain]mail or rings for same

Hi all- I would like to offer mail making as a kid's activity at our event next month. I thought it would be fun to use large plastic rings, so the young kids could weave a piece in a short amount of time without tools. Unfortunately, I can't find any sort of plastic ring which is suitable for this ...

There was quite a lot of BSD clothing at the event. Marc's coat and doublet were borrowed from WorldJoust Tournaments wardrobe, so yes, it's BSD.
