I don't know the dimensions, yardage or fibre content of what you're offering. Even if it's noted somewhere else, it's good to list it with the item.

It is a jack of plates, and probably used for fencing / swordplay. There are a number of padded and/reinforced doublets of this type and shape around. One of the best known is at the MMoA in NYC; it is made of off white leather and beautifully embroidered.
