I feel that I can, and have been told the same by those who have followed me to the field.

I am better when I have had time to put together a brief outline in my head, but improvisational speaking does not bother me.

Going Native in the 14th Century

Hi All- We know that the 14th century saw men at arms travelling great distances to prove themselves in deeds and make coin in foreign wars; English and French travelled to Italy and Spain, Germans travelled into the east to partake in the crusades, and there are even reports of North African wars b...

I don't know if I can make it, but will see what I can do. I notice on the site that there is a concern for the safety of the gym floor - Cynnabar has a foam floor that we use for indoor fighting events where the floor might be damaged or damage armor. Recognition of a threat may constitute engagement, but a twitch in body language does not provide a sufficient degree of recognition to permit striking someone full from behind. The Pennsic champions battles are a little different than your average combat... That being said: At about 49.5 secs there is a twitch in the body language of the eastern unbelt that looks to me like recognition of a threat. Recognition of a threat equals engagement. Also, it looks to me that the fi...

Leo's new crest was for the Lion versus Christians tournament at a local event. He acquitted himeslf quite well in slaying the helpless victims of our baron's bloodlust! Note also - the slim white line coming out of his back - that's a leash preventing him from slaughtering the innocents too quickly!
