Are these meant to be worn like bazubands? I am interested, but a 13" outside length makes these REALLY long on me. Where exactly are you measuring to get 13" from elbow to wrist?

Hi Your Excellency- I enquired about this via PM; Westland indicated that mix and match of styles was okay for bulk orders. I, of course, am going to double check this on our current order before sending it in. I will let you know if the proces are different than what was posted on Legio. Cheers!

Well, it's such a common thing (like shoes or noses or hair) that I really haven't done a webpage about it. Hi Karen- Thanks for the help with Mandragore - I didn't know that you could use Google that way... I agree that crowns are ubiquitous in illumination. Part of what I was looking for was some...

Looking for Images/Artifacts - Crowns/Coronets

Hi All- I've recently found need to design a coronet. I'm looking for images/artifacts from the late 14th/early 15th century, preferably France, that I can use as inspiration. Google gave me nothing and I didn't see a category on Karen's site for such things. Short of scanning thousands of images fo...

My recommendation, when you rebuild, is that you articulate to leathers and sew the leathers to the glove so that future maintenance is a slightly lesser PITA.

My question is getting at what you are asking - how is Windrose applying their black oxide finish so that it is so shiney?

Okay - so if I get the MS base to a mirror polish prior to taking it to the coating company, there is nothing more that I need to tell them when I get there? The piece will come out a nice shiney black like Windrose helms do?

Black Oxide Finish

Hi All- I've got a project I am working on that I would like to have done with a black oxide finish. I'm wondering how exactly the Windrose guys get it so shiney on their helms. Is it simply a matter of getting the oxide layer put on and then polishing it? I would be afraid that I would buff the oxi...
