I must be really dumb, I did not get that. In the past, the Unbelted Champions Battles have had a reputation for being fought in the "gray area" and often times quite brutally. Given what we see in the picture (the whole picture) it was a very logical guess. I was laughing and agreeing wi...

Might I suggest that if you are going to sew in your liner, you think about sewing in a velcro strip instead? That way when that nice spongey quilt has soaked up a Pennsic worth of head juice you can simply pull it out to wash it instead of having to cut out the stitching and start over after the la...

A few weeks ago I went sledding in my garb and Revival low boots. My boots have the leather soles. The difference was how I was walking - I could feel the ground a...

We ended up putting the Northshield, Clovenshield and all the Midrealmers going to Gulf Wars on the same side. Which in retrospect was a mean thing to do because Im fairly sure the 20 brand new sword and shield authorizations we did that day ended up on the side opposing them. That's hilarious.

A TOC is the place to go to get in front of the best trainers in the Kingdom. They usually break the field into three areas: 1 - Crown Rounds: Unbelts head into that section of the field to fight against knights who aren't holding anything back. They are there to kill you as quickly and efficiently ...

Hi Freiman -

Val day is a HUGE event. Can you give us a picture or a heraldic emblazon so that we can find him?

Personally, I will be wearing a jupon with the Midrealm Pale on the chest and Her Majesty AnneMarie's three blue fleurs on each sleeve.

The following story is 100% true and NOT for the faint hearted. Several years ago we collected old weapons from around the kingdom for a special project. These were beat-up, out-dated, broomed out swords that we planned to cut down and refurbish for our needs. One of the swords had an old Q-tip styl...

To me, the curve of the segmented BP looks more "correct" but clearly since both breast plates are original specimens they are both appropriate.

What is the general concensus on which type of curve is better, both from the aesthetic and functionality perspectives?

Curve of Globose

Hi All-

I'm looking for profile pictures of globose breast plates. I want to see where exactly the changes in radius of curvature are. Most of what I am finding in google searches, etc. are reproductions that look too "flat" to me.

Thanks!
