Who makes Burgonets?

I have seen the burgonets made by Illusion and the one on Morgan D'antioche's site, who lamentably seems to not be producinng anyhthing right now. Does onyone else do Burgonets? My 14th century kit is nearing completion, and like crac... er armour addicts everywhere I am thinking about new kits to m...

No Dieter the armor you sell is not acceptable - however we do not feel that it is in the best interest of the pursuit of the joy of combat to exclude players based on their harness. We will expect people with armour that fails to meet a basic attempt to look medieval to cover it. And we encourage a...

Vitus and Duncan thank you for your insight. John thank you for wrenching the thread back on track. My hope is that this Pas will encourage combatants in my area to impove their field appearance and to approach fighting as something more than a modern sporting event, which is the attitude I have enc...

LOL Dagisd, I have been bugging Adam about a corinthian for a couple of years now. The reply I have had from him translates roughly as not ready yet. Apparently he feels his skill level is not yet (as of the last conversation I had with him about it) sufficient to do justice to the helmet. I think t...

I made my liner using Steve's article on his site. I used an open cell medium density foam, sold as a chair pad foam, quilted into a cotton liner. It is far and away the most comfortable helmet liner I have ever worn sca or military. It has very limited field time at the moment so I cant speek to th...

Pas D'Armes in the Barony of Stonemarche

I know folks have asked similar questions in months past, and I lacking foresight failed to head the various recomendations made therein. So now I find myself putting forth my situation to my Bretheren (and Sisteren) on this board. I have been asked to run a Pas at the Stonemarche Investiture this s...

Janos's helmet is pretty big. It sat like a trash can on my head. I used to ooh and aah every time I went over to Adams and saw it in progress. I will guess it would fit a 25" head no problem, but Adam would have to dredge up the original notes or Janos chime in. Suffice it to say its big and heavy....
