Yeah my first go round was bounced for color on color on color. Even though the original idea was taken from a historical example. My current arms passed fine. But now they seem too derivative - being just like all the other 'three charges in chief' submissions of late.

Adam's kit is meant to represent what a town militia man might have worn in the first quarter or so of the 14th century in northern europe - Denmark is what I have heard him reference in regards to the idea. Greaves, vambraces, chausses, spauladers and long mail sleeves could all have been worn. It ...

I think he meant me Gwen. Klaus I have been kind of gradually collecting a 15th century soft kit - It started when Karl sold off a bunch of his stuff - except he is just a little bit smaller than I am. If your going to put a visor on it make the bascinet a more standard lowpoint or back point style. The overly tall style and the visor look - well, wrong.

I have been wearing a pair from brian price at revival.us. They have the vibram soles and I added a pair of superfeet insoles. So far they have been fantastic. Although fighting without any heels has taken some getting used to and has given some of the local guys a few good chuckles.
