Daffyd the global effects kit can most certainly be used to make an accurate looking harness. You have three options with it in my opinion. I own one currently, although I have not put it together as my current corrizone kit made originally by Master Cad is still holding up well. You can: A. strap i...

Silk velvet is most appropriate, with a linen or hemp canvas backing. I used a split hide from Brettuns on mine, pretty much a suede. It has been moderately durable, although it has worn through at the corners of the fauld. The back and breast are still in good shape. And no I have no idea why I loo...

Adam got some nice toggle closure boots from Bohemond. Crepe soles etc... Modern construction, but far better than combat boots. They look pretty good. I wear boots made by alastair which are getting pretty beat. I am thinking about getting a pair of the same design from chivalry bookshelf, with the...

I can vouch for the condition of Adam's pavilion. It is in fantastic shape. I would buy it if I had the extra cash available, alas with a house under construction and a couple of other projects on my plate I dont have the funds. Get this while the getting is good.

Cool beans! Mine came in today, cant wait to put it on a haft and pummel somebody with it. Course someone stole my gauntlets at Pennsic and I havent gotten around to replacing them yet. So the locals can rest easy that the pummeling will be limited until I fix that minor detail.

Rags from Chivalry bookshelf :
The canvas bag is just 26" x 22" x 20", with a nifty zipper closure for convenience. And the tent actually does fold down back into its case for storage.

It is good to see the north getting some much needed attention, may Thorsen and Svava reign again if it please them to do so.

Brian, if the round point doesnt work, what about tooling a coronel head for spears and pole arms? Not as effective a tool for wma but might appeal to the sca combatant looking to neaten up their harness.
