I stand at a fearsome and intimidating 5ft 6in and I seek no cheater heater. I have never been a fan of overly large sh...

Re: Review Wanted - Black Hydra
Mykaru ( Black Hydra ) makes excellent Kabuto, but I think he quit building for our market. Two Ravens Armory make some kabuto-esque helms. I got Jackie at Shamrock Armory to make me one and it was awesome. ( shamrockarmory.com )

WTF is the world coming to ? I remember when you could leave your armour unattended by the field and it would be there when you went for it. Hope it turns up. It shouldn't be hard it has all your design features and enough uniqueness to stand out.

New " SCA " swords ?
I have been reading through many of the posts, several by Sir Vitus, of various sca swords that are beginning to be shaped and fitted with hardware, etc to approximate their steel counterparts. it seems that the days of the round profile rattan sword are numbered. I gotta say these things are lookng...

Just a few thoughts... the Bayeux tapestry shows someone wearing what could be leather armour. Odo If I recall. And given that leather (being essentially skin) has an average decomposition age of 50 years or so, are we really surprised that there are few finds of leather armour? A few leather scrap...
