I agree with Aaron. Most of us know you don't question your honor. I think most guys who do stuff for SCA could make a hell of a lot more $$$ using your skills for other purchase groups. Torvaldr will come through. He shouldn't be spoken of in the same manner as ashcrap booger, hammered wombat, etc.
Theses guys are 1 man shows and he has had his share of crap slung at him by life. I have ordered from him a few times, and wouldn't hesitate to do so again.

3 ft is gonna be a beast, unless he is really tall. Most are 28"-32" I've seen.

Well, with the weight and thickness, it certainly seems to be 12 gauge. Don't take the 40 questions personally. As a community, we try to make sure folks get the right helm for the right purpose .
