I am a spearman and a combat archer and a target, depending on where the day takes me. I get shot all the time. I died 20 times to arrows in the town battle. If I get plinked and don't feel it I obviously don't take the hit. What pisses me off is some archer calling me a cheater. Shoot me again, dud...

I have a 8 inch section of pvc pipe fitted with tachi style fittings. It is laquered black and when my tachi which is taped black, is in there it looks more or less right.

The tanto is in a black laquered piece of 1.5 inch copper pipe.

I'd do it like this. The blue is stiff foam. That would keep the points on the quillion from entering an eyeslot, and prevent marshals from having seizures.
