Are you talking to me? Yes I have at this point made four of these things, two in rock maple and two in Padauk. If you get a big block of wood and nest them like yin yang you can get two stocks from one piece of wood. And I designed them so I don't know if that answers the qusetion of whether I had ...

Clovenshield would always go with the better fighting, lower numbers, if we had a choice. But we don't always have a choice. These commitments typically are in place for many months before the day and there is no way of knowing numbers that far in advance. And once we are bought we stay bought. We o...

Theuy are not really attached at all. The leather gloves have a long cuff that tucks into the forarm pieces. the forarm pieces nest in the "socket" of the gauntlet cuff.

They are very flexible and comfortable and marginally safe.

She was hanging out in our shade pavillion on the battlefield edge and one of my guys was whining about how he wasn't gonna fight anymore because his neck hurt.

Her very presence helped me shame the sand out of his crack and get him back on the field.

SCA pump action combat crossbow design

A few years ago I made some pump action crossbows for SCA use. They don't really pump, they just have a curved metal bar like a "goatsfoot" that pivits through the stock body to allow easier draw, without letting your eyes leave the battlefield. DUke Cuan of Atlantia asked me for the desig...

It was great meeting you guys. Thanks for the mead, you didn't need to do that.

And as for inspiration, your presence shamed a couple of my men who were devloping sand in their cracks to strap it back on and keep fighting.

Thanks.

Lets not even go there. If there wasn't a market there wouldn't be a service. The market exists because (with Konrad's recent exception aside) kings wanted to win wars (at all costs). People will pay to provide this service so that kings will like them. Who in this scenario gets dishonour? All or no...
