Re: If noone gets hurt, we arent doing it right

The exception to this is if there's a disagreement between two Dogs. We solve our arguments in armor and those fights tend to be on a completely different level since each part involved has something to prove to the other. For instance I piss of Dog A, he calls me out and we kit up. During the figh...

Re: Pennsic Sides?

Pennsic has become this big thing that really isn't focused on fighting, it's depressing. Part of that is all the 'stuff' that 'has' to happen. Why does it HAVE to happen? What I have experienced is that as I age and as the people around me age one battle and all the crap you have to do to fight in...

Re: Clam vs. finger gauntlets

In polished spring they are 900. In blackened polished spring they are 1K. You can get them in any material, as long as that material is tempered spring They weigh 8 oz each. He has computer controlled kilns for the hardening and tempering so they are all correct.

Re: Clam vs. finger gauntlets

Well thats the rub. Grettr makes exactly one style of gauntlet in exactly one size. He is not beating these things with hammers, he has tooling he has made and a big industrial press. These things fit standard to big hands really well.
