Re: Pennsic War Champions
I agree. That would be epic. I hope HM Middle can wrangle them up! b It would be Epic to see Finnavar, Laurelin, Eliahu Talimar, Moonwulf, Alen, etc... meet my champions. The men that helped show us the way and built Pennsic. Our Giants. Where they live today matters not to me. Or spring them from ...

For border skirmish I had a banner made with the arms of our employer and our own. Coming in from the left you can see it carried in the forefront of the short battle. I like to fight banner and club.

Nissan, what did you think of my point. I am interested. Still waiting on my donut too. I think the flexibility of the spear makes a difference, even in the first millisecond. Heres my reasoning. Kinetic energy is carried on the vector of the thrust. The more less flexible the shaft the more energy...

Re: Icefalcon 2" speartips
Rattan the same diameter as fiberglass has a lot more flex, generally speaking. More flex = more forgiveness on shots. I disagree. It's all the same for the millisecond of impact. Also, rattan has much more mass. I am with you on the mass of rattan but as for the flex, bad SEM, no donut. The energy...

Slide step into range and something to make them sword block. Slide step, check. What do you attack to get the sword block? Throw to where they would have to blind themsleves to shieldblock. Of course if they do that, it changes my plan, but in a good way. To give a really specific example: Against...

Both work for me but my clear preference is 2. In fact if you get agreement with your buddy ahead of time you can use method 2 for some great fun, which is otherwise forbidden. For example submission fighting is expressly forbidden, except that we all do it every week. Huh? you say. If you are sparr...
