what dia are you using for the rondels? how wide/long are teh straight pieces? tring to get some demension on how much they actually cover the arm, not just the fabric of the jack

depends on your group. for SCA i'd say yes. non gal voiders attached it to a nice arming coat, would look stunning. but for more period anal LH groups it might not be. our group recently said no to butted for 15thc. rivetted is too cheaply availible right now for the use of non period butted. its yo...

not sure your going to find much. there are some depictions of "archers knees" just sitting there with no upper or lower defences. and yet there are some paintings where it looks like rivets on fabric. but that being said, i dont really know hehehe. ask chef, he'd prob be able to tell you

in an early 16th artwork Knight Death and the Devil, the vambracers have disapeared with the use of a long cuff of the guantlet that is pointed to the couter. also the spaulders lead right into the couter becomeing the spaulder and rerebracer in one.

we've been tlaking to them on the RAT forum. the gladius's are good priced but would need work to be period items. i think they are gonna work on those issues. so the guys real upfront so at least thats promising :)
