then mail. get some flat rivited from forth armour or that stuff from kings lance. either will work for sca. u can wear pretty much the same shirt for both 14th and 11th c.

wrong harness mike. italian look is big and round. german look is sleek and fluted ;)

i'm gonna use my spare hosen and perminatly point my pourpoint to it and keep it in teh tent. when i gotta cook/ clean get armoured up, i'll jsut change outta my hosen/doublet and into my hosen/pourpoint

stonekeep i think he means in historical terms, not sellers terms. i have only really ever seen 1 suit called a munitions suit (AAOMK) so i dont know what you would call the better suit. hehe i call it munitions and museum for quality issues

you have a milanese style there. as to gusset, you mean on the breastplate under the arm correct? generally i would say there usually isnt a sliding gusset, not that i am aware of off hand.. could be wrong. i thought sliding gussets were used a little bit later say 1480s on more german type breastpl...

ya its not a fight like sca, its historical study. i'd do it in a heartbeat. with them studing it, if you were to charge they'd quickin their pace and leave you flat on your butt

if you look at the main site they are the higgins sword group. they study the fighting styles etc. form and function rather than hack n slash. thought it looked cool.

skip the rabbit. its not period for our camp and it falls apart. i ahve a full rabbit coat but they told me i couldnt use it.

make a gown or soldiers coat. that'll keep u warm :)
