since you have tomar, save yourself much undeserved pain and go to master talbots page and order the breastplate, guantlets, spaulders, helmet, gorget, arms and legs.. all are 14th cent. you can get all you patterns up front, resize to fit and work from there using tomar as a guide. this is the way robert macpherson changed jeffj's christian fletcher spaulders. he added the sliding rivits to the back of the spaulders. jeff said he did it cause when spaulders move, they gap in the lames, with sliding rivits the gap is only minimal in the front and not in the back.

I disagree Wolf, i think a barbute is a fine choice for this harness As for the harness its self, polish would be nice, the red fiebings dye is glaringly modern, pretty small gripe though i dunno. since he's got the german arms, he's going for the export look. i dont know of any exports with barbut...

Joaquin, i wouldnt go with a barbuta. there isnt really any good paintings(out side of italy i think) showing one with a suit. your suit warrents an armet. i'd go for borrowing a sallet. heck, for a cheap italian export sallet, get the museum reps one like i have, and then sell it off later when you...
