use rebarr wire. fairely cheap at Quality farm stores. its already black and is oil/grese coated. since its mild it will rust, but it does a good job and stays black

how would one go about makeing these? i've seen the images etc but are the disc dished at all? or just round discs with a ring onto long plates? i think this would be totally awsome if I put sleeves on my jack instead of opting for the mail underneath

ok. heres a thought. what if you put a buckle near or at the ends of the faulds to keep the "bell" shape correct? i know it wouldnt be totally period but it might help with the sag and over lapped look. could even put the buckles n straps on the inside if your worried about it. use small straps so t...
