you can get some 16 guage mild or 18 guage stainless lorica segmentatas on ebay for pretty cheap. that would be your best bet otherwise i would go with a riveted hamata with some hidden kidney plates. for arms hmmmmmmmmm..... besides hidden i'd use manicas. but i think i'd still use flesh colored hi...

right, straight strips dont work. you need a slight curve to each lame and then even some lames look to have a slight dishing at the lip.[/code]

either its a msitake by a restorer in the 19thc (heheh)

orrr the 3 in a row are liner holes and the one above was some kind of securing strap to the visor

notice that the greeves are not correctly placed on the leg of the maniquin? thus the strap behind the knee should go in that hook. this would allow the lames on the top of the back greeve to extend up when the leg is bent

ya what tim said. lord greys redid one of our tents using leather washers instead of the grommets. we got dinged one year at mta in teh compition, so we made sure not to let it happen again. and then pointed it out the the judges that we had proper leather washer sewn on hehe so they looked at teh o...

they are called grommets check your local wal mart in the camping section. they are brass and are 2 pieces. you put the one on top that the center sticks thru the hole then u put the bottom on over it and peen it down.
