those are some good thoughts. i have thought about them as well. i have a rivetted flat alternating mail shirt from forth armoury that is ruffly the same size as the findit armoury one with sleeves.

so hmmmmmmm

i always had the problem of the nails coming out of the wood. are these carpet tacks? i think nails that clinch will work better.

Y'all are so mean... It has recently come to my attention that I shouldn't be able to raise my arms above my head in real 15th century Italian pauldrons (and thus shouldn't be able to perform a cartwheel). H Russel Robinsons' book called "what they wore on hadrians wall" you can usually find a used copy on ebay, amazon or abebooks for cheap. its a lil book but really good with information.

if no one pipes in after the weekend, i'll do a small write up for ya.
