By harness I include the sallet etc, hence 'part of', but yes indeed it is a standalone protective garment. never heard of this group. have to do some more checking thanks. but looking over their jacks, i dont think they are very thick. they look more like an arming doublet than a full multi-layered jack. i know i've run into lotsa people in england that call whe usa thinks of an arming doublet as an armi...

eh yes and no. english armour is complicated being that there isnt any to be found. but plenty of effigies to show it. english is more like italian export but it has some flair on teh arms and legs like german. can you take some pics of your gear 1 piece at a time? i cant see the pauldorns nor the f...

the center strap that you mention would put it at an italian export or english breastplate. your breast is most definitely german.

what armour books do you have availible. so we can look at the same pictures? theres not much but 1 suit in that towton book you mentioned
