All this bullshit to prevent a few people from doing asshole things in what is supposed to be honorable combat.

Can't we just snatch people off the field and tar and feather them?

There is a section about not using nails for weapon construction, that might be what you are thinking... Where is that? That's what I was looking for... Can you quote it for me? I guess my question is, what is the difference between an upholstry tack, and a very small nail? (for those using upholst...

15th cent. centergrip shields?

Anywhere in the range of early to mid 15th century... preferably Italian-ish...

What shapes and sizes were the centergrip shields of that era if there were any?

This will be an alternate to my sca heater shield.

Not interested in round shields/bucklers.

(SCA) Shields and nails

I swear I had read somewhere that you couldn't use nails or staples in shield construction... But, when I went back and looked at the SCA rules, and the Atlantian rules, for shield construction I couldn't find that anywhere... Is something that used to be, or may be something specific to some other ...

That's it...

It does not in any way benifit the archive though.

I used all the money I ever made off of selling stuff there to buy myself the black AA baseball cap. I highly reccommend the cap.

Do you have an pictures of the back of the leg harness? Or perhaps a link to one?

Learn to fight first, then worry about if your shield matches your armour.

If the man who is teaching you to fight, says fight with a heater... fight with a heater. Put your round on the shelf.
