What do you think this might be the result of? I think that for the most part, people have an idea in their head of what they want to look like on the battlefield. Then, they put together a suit. If the person thinks "I want to look like I'm from the Battle of Hastings" and then realize they cannot...

I've made a lot of armor over 7 years and with the exception of that one girl who didn't pad and got a bruise when her leg fell off (!) I haven't heard any trouble.

Is that your take on the situation?

I'm curious.

Or are you still being toung in cheek?

the knees and elbows are an accident waiting to happen.

Not "waiting to happen"... its... "That has happened".

Which was the basic subject of the other thread.

As far as the outcry to let this thread die...

Don't read it, or post on it, and your wish will come true.

Mindwip... please state which pair you are bidding on. Specifically.

If Mindwip is bidding on the darker pair, then...

I raise my bid to $120

(I am also willing to raise this if neccessary to $155... that's my upper limit.)

Nissan,

I'm not all that fond of melee fighting, but if Sir Vitus would stand against you, I'd stand by his side.

Thats would be 2.

We'd need more if it would be a "grand scale".

But I'd add that to my goals for 2006. Tis worthy.

New years resolutions are weird, and I don't like them... What are your personal goals for fighting in the year 2006? * * * * * Mine: - I'd like to win a tournament. - I'd like to authorize greatsword. - I'd like to do everything my knight needs done before he asks me to do it. - I'd like to totally...

Jesus did not write the Bible, so you are making the assumptions that those who did, in this case John, wrote down exactly what Jesus said, and that the translation of it is correct. Man is fallible. So, within Christianity, the catholic doctrine of the Trinity states that God is a single being who...

I'd like it to last for about a months worth of practice, and then the event.

After that, I can always just rebuild it next year.
