Welcome to the Archive Wilhelm Schwartze Leopard, First off, the Madu itself is a touchy subject here, so you might get some crazed responses on this. But, yeah, I've noticed that alot of folks, in this part of Atlantia at least, have a broad definition of Madu. I've often heard folks refer to the a...

They have already been mentioned, so I'm not adding much other than my opinion...

I like Bedford Points and Bearpits...

I'm also a big fan of basic double elimination tourneys.

I absolutely hate tourneys that handicap the fighter at random, or set intervals.

Ulrich Von Liechtenstein: The Service of Ladies
Ramon Lull's Book of Knighthood and Chivalry

Should keep me occupied this winter after I finish the three books I'm reading now.

William Marshal Question

I'm reading Knights at Tournament from Osprey Pub., and came across this passage: The best reference to the tournament at this time is the biography of William Marshal, who became Marshal of England. The work was written in the second quarter of the 13th century by the old man's squire with the help...

5. When throwing a snap, the proper technique should cause the sword hand to turn palm up very early in the swing - preferably at the start. How do you do this without telegraphing the shot?
