I think he's more pissed at the system that enables the one guy, and the group that supports the system. Just guessing though... That particular approach by one hot stick to a sport he didn't like will always shape how I view the top level of rattan fighters in the West. -Patrick So ONE guy does som...

Re: Future of SCA fighting

We should ban laurels too... cause they'd surely strap on armour and pick up rattan if there was no such thing as A&S.

Sometimes the dumbass shit that spews out of people's keyboards and onto this website just blows me away.

Anybody use one of these? I was thinking it would be nice under a tunic sleeve, with an elbow cop strapped on over it.

It always blows me away that this is legal. That thin part of grass fibers making it meet the required thickness? I mean... come on... I've played with planed down swords for a few years now, and the edges of mine start to smooshe back and get pulpy like almost immediately. And that is without a hol...

Hey, Douche... we'd probably piss on your petition. Umm...ok? I'm sorry if it caused issues on your system. On mine, it was just bright and ugly. Stonekeep, if Sine doesn't check back in time, I would like to recall my last bid so that he gets them.

I was just being greedy. I'd rather they go to a new fighter.

Sine, if you bump it $2 I'll quit bidding. I defer to your new fighter's needs.

Cause, I have no project in mind for em, just a good deal. Let your guy have the good deal.

I use some fancy upholstery (sp??) tacks to attach canvas to my wooden shield. They work well.

Last one, the shield busted into pieces before I lost a single tack.
