I've moved to ever lighter arm armour so that I could swing my sword for a longer period of time. It was never about speed, it is about endurance. Could just be me... but I swing just as fast in steel arms (properly fitting and pointed), as I do in hockey arms. I can just keep going longer in the ho...

Review: www.olympicden.com/
For those of you that use hockey gear as part of your fighting gear, I would advise avoiding www.olympicden.com/ like the plague. They are real quick on charging your credit card for an order, but really bad about everything else. I ordered a set of elbows from them Nov. 6th. They charged my card No...

I fucked up and called a shot light once. Which, upon relection later that day, I thought may have been good. I apologized to the dude and told him what happened. End of story. Given all that. This is a lame thread. Pennance is between god and man. Expressing it to the world like this is just grand ...

Merely a comment on the fact that you're supposed to be putting your shield between your opponents sword and your body, not removing it from that space... No need to wax philosophical on the subject. If you thrust at a guys shield, and he moves it out of the way so that you hit him... he deserves to...

Re: harder than you want...
My boss has this theory that when we're surveying a piece of property, and the record boundary line calls for 100' and we get 125'... we don't ask how that dude could have fucked up by 25'. We ask ourselves how we could have fucked up by 25'. And 9 times out of 10, we fucked up by 25'. Mayhaps you'...

Thanks Talun! PM sent. Dante, email me a list of what you still need and I'll set it aside for you. I do not currently need five sets of armor. I have an old Lupus-made starter helm rusting slowly to death in my shop, which you are welcome too. It was given to me for use as a loaner helm and I never...
