I have never, in the last 6 years I've been fighting heavy, recovered from a blow by windmilling straight down, so that the tip of my sword might touch the ground.

Maybe I'm just not good enough for those advanced skills, though.

Because they're not. Demos are pretty much solely for recruitment, not education.

The tops of cleats are leather. They aren't reenforced with anything that makes them invulnerable to other cleats.

The idea that somebody stepping on your foot with cleats will turn you feet into "bags of jelly & bone splinters" is rediculous.
