Alot of references to 1A1B.

Could somebody start a thread titled 1A1B, and then describe exactly what it is?

I missed the explanation somewhere...

Nah, Cet's stuff is tough as nails, and solid through and through. No malice intended, just a heads up to you, Beau. Maybe you could look into using the helm halves from RFTH, and turn those spun tops into salad bowls or something... Anything so as not to have more of those monstrosities sitting on ...

Chicago screws at my earlobes.

They work fine for me in regards to face thrusts. Never had a problem.

I've started using locktight on the chicago screws lately.

Bo... you can get a head shaped helm top (ie: not spun), made out of two halves, welded and ground down from Rough from the Hammer Armoury for $55.

Pretty common knowledge.

Kevlar chinstrap. They are awesome. I've used them on every helm I've ever owned (and I've had quite a few).

And August rolls around again...

Seems to me a while back, you said I'd get a helm in August... what year was that?

Hmmmm... what year was that?

Stick this in a new thread Eirik. 2 general points. 1. Johno started posting here originally without the "Count" tag. It was only after folks found out that he was a Count, and started lambasting him about it that he switched over. 2. If you think what you post here doesn't affect how you are seen within the SCA because it...

Eventually, you become good enough that the sport doesn't beat you up physically as much as it does at the beginning.

How fast that happens depends on how much you practice and fight.

My theory is that its genetic. There is a speed gene. No karate kid sanding the floor bullshit will let the folks that can't cat...

I started this thread to give folks a place to discuss their views on Combat Archery, so they would stop talking about Combat Archery in my thread (Nothing to do with CA).

But, your ambiguous definition of what constitutes a Tradition starts at an unspecified date, a few years (sic) into the SCA. Stating that CA cannot be a Tradition because it starts at some vauge unspecified date, kinda kills your argument.
