Thanks for the warning Massa G but you need not be so quick to call it in. I have downloaded and saved the entire site (I think, I'm still checking on it) I can supply you with the site or perhaps better, just have you do it on your end. Here is the software I used. Corazzina construction...

Anyone have any detail images of the Met Corazzina (or a similar piece)? Anything you've got that might help in the construction of such would be much appreciated. I have a few images of "original" but they aren't of very good quaility. Also, since I have not seen the piece in person, does it actual...

Just out of curriousity I found these quotes in a 5 minute search of the web... "The Friesian is one of Europe's oldest breeds and its lineage has been traced back nearly 3,000 years to the ancient horse, Equus Robustus. It is from this heavy horse that the Friesian takes its draft horse characteris...

Have a die made, and get it puched by a machine shop.... If you make an interesting shape different from the last time this was done (say the cool "B" shaped plates) you could probably get significant orders on the archive to offset the costs some.... Its been done and it worked well last time but i...

Geocities won't let you directly post the images here. Yes, I know you can see one or both of them now, but it all has to do with your cache and referencing pages and all sorts of fun stuff. Here are the links to the pics. http://www.geocities.com/dakotahb/Armor/barbute_c4.jpg http://www.geocities.c...

Good lord thats nice. As Bob commented on, excellent finished feel to the piece. For a third attempt you should be more than a little proud. I'd personally love to see the maille added just because its so rare to see on a great helm, it would make it that much more unique. Good show irregardless, I'...

Well, considering I can just barely see the edge of the face in one picture and that the hair seems to actually grow out of the face it must be that the helm was done in a "fairly" norman manner with bargrill and that the face was created in leather and added to it and painted. The top most layer of...

It was a really good deal.... it cost $75 (which is about half what a simple torso dummy goes for) The legs and arms are detachable. All I have to do is make a stand for it. I'll have to make one a bit heavier duty than it typically would have to bear the weight of my rig. One of the big pluses... n...
