For a second I thought you were referring to Nightshade leather. Skye Leather made them as well. But I have no idea if Skye is still in business, last I dealt with them was back in the 90's and they were hooked up with Alan Bauldree

Whats up with the green goblin guy carrying a strapped scutum to his arm while swinging a greatsword with both hands?

That is plain cheesy. :(

That's Ghijgar or some spelling or other from Lonely Mountain forge. He's been fighting with that style for years.

Josh, If you want to know what kind of guy to expect, personality etc. send Animal a pm asking if he knows the guy and his take on him. Aside from that, you can expect someone who's going to get into armor and try to hit you with a stick. Kinda like every other practice you've ever attended.

Hmmm. Possibly but don't you think Pennsic is a much cheaper vacation than taking the family somewhere else? That would pretty much be a factor of Geography and of course. Pennsic vs What?. For myself it's a no brainer I can take my family and have a 10 day Pennsic for about $500 after the gate. Th...

anyone ever order rattan from Ulrich (I think?) at Known Known World? Pretty good price..... I've not ordered any but I have handled it personally. Again not bad stuff if you can find good dense sticks (which I like). I did however have one given to me last year that I have on my bardiche. I have n...

Alejandro,
In no way am I advocating "catchall peerage".. I am simply looking at actual martial endeavors which are within the society now. You won't see me advocating thrown weapons or archery for a peerage

Ok, i can see the "Don" thing we do now as being upgraded to a peer like role. But we can't simply say, here you go "Don", your now a peer, or can we? I don't know, i don't really understand the fencing hiearchy. I don't see doing equestrian just yet, because very few participat...

Fencing and Equestrian combat I could see someday becoming inclusive in the chivalry. These are combat styles in which you pit skill against skill face to face. In short you are "putting yourself within Harms way"
Anything else sorry can't see a peerage being created for.
